Jenny Wilson - President, Founder
Jenny Wilson is the Founder and President of the Sleepy Baby Box Foundation. Jenny has been a nurse for almost 20 years, a professor of pediatric nursing, a mom of three, and an advocate for breastfeeding.
Sharron Traffenstedt - Chief Operations Officer
Sharon Traffenstedt has been the Chief Operations Officer since 2017. Sharon has over 20 years experience in administration and has a passion to reduce the caregiver burden for teenage moms and their babies.
Norma Escobar - chief financial officer
Norma Escobar first started with our foundation in 2019 as our office manager. In 2021, Norma accepted the position of Chief Financial Officer. Norma is a Trujitsu Gold Metalist and a mother of two.
Daren Amos - Director of Education
Daren Amos has been with Sleepy Baby Box since 2019. Darren has been a Licensed Paramedic for over 20 years and is a Licensed BLS/ CPR Instructor. Daren serves on the Emergency Management Committee for the County of Kern and is passionate about education.
Melissa sherman - director of community partnerships
Melissa Sherman is a Nurse Practitioner and Professor of Nursing and is our newest board member. Melissa is a mother and grandmother who understands the struggles of being a single mother. Melissa is passionate about serving our community and assisting those most in need.
